The Smart MODULE FC100 is highly configurable modular static frequency converter constructed using power modules for best redundancy. 100kVA Power modules operate as rectifiers to source sinusoidal current from the supply, and inverters to reproduce the AC waveforms on the output . For operation of the power modules an isolation transformer is applied to the input or output the as part of the Smart MODULE FC100 system.
Typical FC100 Applications are Interconnection of ships at berth to the grid (Shore-to-ship ),On-board vessels (shore power converter) and special industrial applications such as floating platform storage and offloading operations for the oil and gas industry
